The 2021 general election is just around the corner. On November 2, voters across the country will make their voices heard on important issues and determine who will lead their government. National Voter Registration Day is a great reminder to register to vote, check if you are registered, or to update your address online.
In addition to state and county measures, Snoqualmie residents will vote on the following candidates and Proposition 1.
Candidates
There are eight Snoqualmie residents running for four offices: Mayor and Council Positions 1, 3, 5, and 7. Those who are elected will take office on January 1, 2022 and serve four-year terms expiring December 31, 2025. Learn more about the candidates on the King Council Elections website.

City of Snoqualmie Proposition 1
Sales and Use Tax for Transportation Improvements
Proposition 1 – the Sales & Use Tax for Transportation Improvements – would add 20 cents per $100 on taxable goods and services, eliminate the $40 annual vehicle license fee, and generate more ongoing revenue for transportation improvements in Snoqualmie, such as street resurfacing, sidewalk replacement, and the rehabilitation of Snoqualmie Parkway.
