City of Snoqualmie Seeks New Members for Commissions

Snoqualmie, WA – Do you want to become more involved in your community? Positions are open on the Parks & Events Commission and the Civil Service Commission.

The Parks & Events Commission advises the City Council on parks and facilities, recreational activities, and events. The commission meets the third Monday of each month, 7-9 p.m. at the Snoqualmie Police Department Training Center, located at 34825 SE Douglas Street.

The Civil Service Commission performs activities related to public safety personnel. It meets on the first Wednesday of each month on an as-needed basis, 6 p.m., at City Hall, located at 38624 SE River Street.

Mayor Matt Larson is considering applications for appointment. To apply, complete the online Statement of Interest for Appointment to Boards, Commissions, and Committees on the Snoqualmie website at snoqualmiewa.gov. New members must reside within the city limits.
