On October 23, 2023, the Snoqualmie City Council unanimously approved Mayor Ross’s permanent appointment of Mike Chambless as City Administrator. Mr. Chambless had been serving as Interim City Administrator for the past six months.
City Administrator Chambless joined the City of Snoqualmie in February 2022 as the Parks and Public Works Director, bringing with him two decades of municipal management experience, eleven of those years at the executive level.
“While serving as Interim City Administrator, I was impressed with Mr. Chambless’s strong leadership and track record of accomplishments while working with all City departments,” said Mayor Ross. “I appointed him to be City Administrator to carry on our goal of increasing efficiencies and delivering high quality levels of services for our residents and businesses.”
“As City Administrator, I will always put the residents’ needs first,” commented Mr. Chambless. “The City of Snoqualmie team of professionals is changing to meet today’s needs. It is exciting to work to implement these changes, and my team and I look forward to delivering results for this community.”
As City Administrator, Mr. Chambless will oversee all aspects of City operations and work closely with elected officials, City departments and Snoqualmie residents.
