Upcoming Closures of Centennial Fields and Sandy Cove Park for Tree Removal

Snoqualmie Park Closure Graphic 2023

In late August and mid-September, the Snoqualmie Parks Division will temporarily close two city parks to facilitate the removal of trees.

On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Centennial Fields Park will close from 6 am to 2:30 pm to remove trees near the playground. This tree removal is required to provide additional space for the larger All-inclusive Playground that will begin construction in late summer.

On Thursday, September 14, 2023, Sandy Cove Park will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm for the removal of a partly failed tree.

Signage will also be placed at each park to notify the public of these upcoming, temporary closures.

The City appreciates residents’ patience and understanding while this work is completed.
