Why Sit in Traffic? Shop, Ship, Support Snoqualmie

News & Announcements Posted on July 19, 2023

Avoid summer traffic, construction projects, and parking issues and at the same time support local businesses by shopping closer to home this summer. Both historic downtown Snoqualmie and Snoqualmie Ridge feature a variety of shops, restaurants, and services for locals and visitors alike.

In addition to in-person shopping, many local businesses provide ordering and shipping options so you can conveniently send purchases to family, friends, or to your own household. And If you can’t find what you need locally, consider delivery to your home instead of sitting in traffic. Washington is a destination-based sales tax state, which means the City of Snoqualmie receives sales tax revenue for online orders delivered to Snoqualmie homes.

Shopping at our local businesses or having items delivered are both great ways to keep tax dollars at home to support local businesses, local jobs, and city services.
