As part of the City’s ongoing Road Maintenance and Repair Project, contractor crews will close SE Fir Street between Railroad Ave/SR 202 and Maple Ave SE to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
The one-day closure will allow crews to apply slurry seal to this segment of Fir Street to extend the life of roadway pavement and provide time for the product to properly dry and cure.
Residents with driveway access on SE Fir Street can use the public parking lot along Railroad Ave/SR 202 and use sidewalks to access their properties.
Drivers should use SE Northern Street and SE King Street as alternate routes during the closure.
The City thanks residents for their understanding and patience while this important roadway improvement project is completed.
