The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association will hold its annual fundraising Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 17, 2024, during Snoqualmie Days. Firefighters will serve up breakfast to the community from 7 to 11 AM at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway.
Firefighters will turn an apparatus and equipment bay at the station into a makeshift restaurant, cooking and serving a pancake and ham breakfast along with Krispy Kreme donuts, Starbucks coffee, orange juice and other beverages. Breakfast is $10 for adults, $6 for kids (5-12) and children under 5 are free. This year, the Snoqualmie Firefighters Association pancake breakfast continues the commitment of going green, partnering with Waste Management with the goal of a zero waste event. The event will minimize waste production by utilizing recyclable and compostable items only.
This Snoqualmie Firefighters Association is a non-profit that supports the Snoqualmie Fire Department with special equipment purchases, community events, public safety and fire education, human services assistance during emergency situations, student scholarships, historic preservation and maintenance of Snoqualmie’s original Engine 1, and charitable organizations within the community.
The Pancake Breakfast will also feature a silent auction and raffle ($2 per ticket) for items under $100 from local businesses. The silent auction features some special items, including a golfing foursome at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, deluxe overnight stays and breakfast for 2 at the Salish Lodge, wine tasting for 8 at Sigillo Cellars, as well as gift certificates and other donations from local restaurants and breweries.
T-shirts, bike helmets and Snoqualmie Firefighters Association Challenge Coins will be available for purchase during the event. Come meet your Snoqualmie Fire Department Firefighters and EMT’s and take advantage of great photo opportunities for the family with firefighters and emergency vehicles.
