On April 28, 2025, the Snoqualmie City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Mona Davis as the City’s new Community and Economic Development Director, effective May 1.
Mona brings over 25 years of planning and land use experience, working in both public and private sectors throughout the local region, most recently serving as the Community Development Director in Black Diamond. She has lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for over 20 years, where she and her husband raised their two sons.
“I’m delighted to be working in Snoqualmie as the new Community and Economic Development Director,” said Davis. “I look forward to serving the Mayor, the Council, and engaging with our residents and businesses.”
On April 30, Mayor Ross administered the oath of office at the Meadowbrook Farm Interpretive Center during the Snoqualmie Volunteer Appreciation event.
“Mona is a great fit for our City,” said Mayor Ross. “She brings with her a wealth of professional experience and, as a local resident, she understands the Snoqualmie Valley. We are excited to have her on board.”
