This summer, Snoqualmie residents may notice city workers checking connections to water meters. This work is being conducted as part of a routine audit as the City of Snoqualmie upgrades its utility billing system.
To complete the routine audit, crews will check the water and sewer connections, as well as stormwater services, to Snoqualmie homes and businesses. When finished, all collected data will be imported into the City’s new billing system.
The work, which includes checking the size of water and sewer pipes serving homes and businesses, will be conducted by City of Snoqualmie Public Works Department employees.
“We thank residents for their cooperation while we complete this audit and the upgrade of our utility billing system,” said City Administrator Mike Chambless. “The improvements will enhance efficiencies for our customers.”
