Snoqualmie Volunteer EMT Robert Angrisano will lead an important Opioid Overdose and Emergency Reversal Training for parents of Snoqualmie Valley School District 6–12 graders on November 6, 2024.  The training will take place in the Mount Si High School Career Center from 6 to 7 pm.

Participants will learn about multiple situations that can lead to an opioid overdose; how to recognize potential and actual opioid overdose situations; how to respond to an opioid overdose to save a life; and be trained to administer the lifesaving and opioid reversing drug Naloxone.  VEMS Angrisano will also discuss emerging drug trends in our area.

Following the training, local community experts from Friends of Youth and Empower Youth Network will provide an overview of local services, prevention, and support.
