The City will implement a temporary, seasonal closure of King Street, between Railroad Ave SE/SR 202 and Maple Ave SE, following the conclusion of Snoqualmie Days.
The seasonal closure, which begins on August 18, 2024, is intended to provide additional pedestrian-friendly open space near the popular Northwest Railway Museum Depot and the historic downtown retail area. The closure will also help minimize pedestrian and vehicle conflict and will also provide an area for future food truck usage within the right-of-way.
Temporary street bollards and fencing were installed at the intersection of King Street and Railroad Ave on August 16, 2024. This section of King Street will also close to accommodate Snoqualmie Days, Aug. 16-17.
There is delivery access for King Street in the closure area via Maple Ave SE. The seasonal closure will be in place through early fall.
