This week, the City of Snoqualmie reached an agreement to resolve its lawsuit with the City of North Bend regarding the provision of police services. This agreement resolves concerns, particularly the financial burden on Snoqualmie residents.
The Snoqualmie City Council unanimously approved the new Police Services Interlocal Agreement (ILA) during a special meeting on September 15, 2025. The North Bend City Council then unanimously approved the ILA during its September 16, 2025, regular meeting.
The Snoqualmie community will continue to receive outstanding police response times and services. The Snoqualmie Police Department’s coverage of the City of North Bend will conclude on March 31, 2026.
“I am proud of this collaborative, successful resolution that demonstrates our commitment to fiscal responsibility on behalf of Snoqualmie taxpayers and dedication to our police department,” said Mayor Katherine Ross. “This is a win for both cities. I wish North Bend the best and look forward to future partnerships.”
