Join the Green Snoqualmie Partnership on Nov. 30 and take a break from the holiday rush to plant trees and native plants that will restore a section of forest in the northern neighborhoods of Snoqualmie Ridge.
This North Ridge – Post Thanksgiving Planting event happens on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, from 9 am – 12 pm. It will focus on climate change resiliency, which will promote a healthy urban forest in our community.
Volunteers of all-ages and skill levels are welcome. The workload for this event is on the easier side, with the focus on planting. Many forest stewards will also be on-hand to help and guide volunteers as they plant small trees and native plants.
Where to Meet/What to Bring
Volunteers should meet at the corner of Douglas Ave SE and SE Muir Street on Snoqualmie Ridge. There is ample street parking in this area. Bring a water bottle and wear clothes that can get dirty, sturdy shoes, and work gloves. Work gloves will be provided for those who don’t have them.
