Police Seek Public’s Help to Locate Missing Person

On Friday, August 18, 2023, King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 1 helicopter performed an aerial search for Mohamed in the North Bend vicinity but did not locate him. Over the weekend, King County Search and Rescue crews also performed an extensive ground search of the Little Si Hiking area and did not locate him.  Further examination of cellphone data showed a tight location ping of 300 meters, putting Mohamed’s phone in the vicinity of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail near I-90 milepost 32, before the phone died.  

Anyone who may have seen Mohamed Ibrahim in the Little Si Hiking area or near the Snoqualmie Valley Trail in the I-90 milepost 32 area are asked to call the Snoqualmie Police Dept. at (425) 888-3333 or 9-1-1.

The Snoqualmie Police Dept. is asking for the public’s help to locate missing 20-year-old Mohamed E. Ibrahim who was last seen on Aug. 15, 2023.

He was reported missing to the Bellevue Police Dept. after failing to return to his Snoqualmie home from a club meeting at Bellevue College on Aug. 15.  It was later determined that he did not attend the meeting in person, but attended virtually while hiking in the Little Si area of North Bend, WA.

Mohamed is 6’1” tall and weighs approximately 155lbs. He has brown hair, brown eyes; is clean shaven; and has scars on his eyebrows. He was last seen possibly wearing a green hoodie, gray pants, and dark colored shoes. 

Any members of the public who may have seen Mohamed or have information regarding his whereabouts are asked to contact the Snoqualmie Police Dept. at 425-888-3333 or 9-1-1.
