On February 26 from 5-6 pm, stop by the second-floor lobby of City Hall, located at 38624 SE River Street, to meet artist Rebecca Mott and view her vibrant works. Light refreshments will be served. The display, which is sponsored by the Snoqualmie Arts Commission, can be viewed on both the first floor and second floor lobbies of City Hall.
About the Artist
Ms. Mott, who grew up in North Bend and now resides in Lake Forest Park, received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2022 after completing her BFA in 2018. Her work explores the intersection between painting and technology, with a critical interest in the development of AI. She employs escapism by making organic paintings, but simultaneously embraces the energy and the vibrancy of connection through expressive color and baroque compositions.
