Human Services Funding Available to Community Organizations for the 2025-2026 Biennium

News & Announcements Posted on June 10, 2024 | Last Updated on June 17, 2024

The City of Snoqualmie Human Services Advisory Committee has opened the human services funding application for the 2025-2026 biennium. The City assigns a portion of its general fund to human services organizations that provide vital services to individuals and families in need within the Snoqualmie Valley.

Human services are often provided directly by larger municipalities. However, the City does not maintain staff with expertise in these areas. Instead, the City contracts with community organizations to provide human services that align with one or more of the City’s funding priorities:

  1. Food to Eat and a Roof Overhead
  2. Supporting and Preparing Youth for Success
  3. A Safe Haven from Violence and Abuse
  4. Physical and Mental Wellness, and Healthy Aging

The application is available on the City of Snoqualmie website

**Applications are due on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.

After the application period closes, the Human Services Advisory Committee will score the applications and make a funding recommendation to the Snoqualmie City Council.
