Snoqualmie’s Inaugural #ReduceYourWaste Week Starts Feb. 6

News & Announcements Posted on February 03, 2023

A new winter tradition launches in Snoqualmie the week of Feb 6: the first ever Reduce Your Waste Week. Learn how to limit food waste and help save both food costs and the environment.

All week long, residents can learn tips to reduce their waste, including education about what items can really go in your garbage, recycle, and yard waste bins; food saving best practices; and how the City’s F.O.G (Fats, Oils, Grease) program works.

Follow the City on Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, and Twitter the week of Feb. 6 as we launch this waste reduction public education initiative - and learn about #reducingyourwaste, #whatgoesinthebin, #recyclingright, and more.

Residents can also visit the City website Recycling and Waste Reduction page for more information.
