A workshop is scheduled for the Snoqualmie City Council to take a deep dive on future development concepts using a facilitated Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) process.
On February 24, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m., Council Members will participate in active analysis of potential future growth for the city’s existing Urban Growth Area (UGA), land areas currently under King County jurisdiction and not yet annexed into Snoqualmie city limits. The focus is how to ensure the continuing high quality of life in Snoqualmie and maintain the city’s service levels and expectations as Snoqualmie Ridge reaches build out.
Considerations are new sources of economic development to support service levels and the constraints of raising taxes and fees in future years.
The workshop is open to the public through Zoom or by dial-in. Because of the facilitated workshop format, no public comment will be taken at this time. Future opportunities to provide comment on the discussion topic will be made available.
