Governor Jay Inslee announced an additional $50 million for Working Washington Small Business Grants through the Washington State Department of Commerce.
Businesses can apply for up to $20,000 to cover expenses or costs incurred due to COVID-19 and were necessary to continue business operations. The grants are prioritized for small businesses in sectors most impacted by recent public health measures or those that have experienced significant, cumulative impacts. Some non-profits may also be eligible if they have primary business activities that falls into a similar category.
Online applications are available on the StartUp Washington website at http://startup.choosewashingtonstate.com/.
Priority is given to those applications received by December 10, 2020.
