[ARCHIVED] Snoqualmie Playgrounds Close Temporarily

This is a picture of a temporary closure of Fisher Creek Park.

Snoqualmie Parks & Public Works Department has made a difficult decision to temporarily close Snoqualmie playgrounds.

There have been large groups of children and teenagers in the playgrounds and, in alignment with recommendations by the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, the city wants to support social distancing.

There have also been groups in the parks and on the athletic fields, therefore, the city has the following guidelines for the safety of the community.

  • Playgrounds are closed until further notice. Signs and tape are in place and will be removed upon re-opening.
  • Parks remain open, although visitors are asked to maintain social distancing with groups of not more than ten.
  • Athletic fields are open but organized sports and practices are not allowed.

Please remind children and teenagers of these guidelines.

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, please email info@ci.snoqualmie.wa.us or call 425-888-8014.
