City of Snoqualmie and Daniel Marcinko Announce Retirement from Director of Parks and Public Works Department
Snoqualmie, WA – The City of Snoqualmie and Daniel Marcinko announce the retirement of Mr. Marcinko from his position as Director of the Parks and Public Works Department after ten years of public service to the City of Snoqualmie.
Mr. Marcinko announced his retirement early this week. He will be departing on July 1, 2019. A transition and succession plan is in place and the City expects a smooth, seamless transition without any disruption to levels of services to ratepayers and the citizens of Snoqualmie.
The City is grateful for the service and leadership that Mr. Marcinko provided over the course of the past ten years of building and enhancing regional networking relationships, successful operations of the Parks and Public Works Departments in City Hall and assisting the City in bringing in millions of dollars in grant funds to enhance City infrastructure.
Mayor Matt Larson, the City Council, and City Administration wish Mr. Marcinko nothing but the best in his retirement from the City of Snoqualmie.
“I have truly appreciated the support of the citizens of Snoqualmie over the past ten years,” Mr. Marcinko said. “While I look forward to my retirement and spending more time with my family and pursuing other interests outside of public life, I will miss being part of a team and the City.”
“Dan was a valuable contributor to the City over the past ten years,” said Mayor Larson. “The City of Snoqualmie is a better place due to his decade of service to our town. We wish Dan all the best in his future endeavors, whatever they might be, and joy from more time with his family.”
