[ARCHIVED] Snoqualmie Tops Two Lists as Safest City in Washington

The National Council for Home Safety and Security ranked Snoqualmie #1 in the 2019 Safest Cities in Washington based on FBI Uniform Crime Report statistics along with population data and internal research by the organization. Last year, the National Council for Home Safety and Security ranked Snoqualmie among the top 10 safest cities.

Snoqualmie also repeated its #1 ranking as 2019 Safest City in Washington with SafeWise, which ranked the city #1 in 2018. To reach its findings, SafeWise compiles FBI Uniform Crime Report statistics and population data.

“We are pleased to be recognized by multiple organizations as one of the safest communities in Washington,” said Police Chief Perry Phipps. “Our belief and commitment to ‘No Call Too Small’ combined with a community effort of residents and city personnel help keep our city a safe place to live, work, and visit.”

Snoqualmie has received numerous safety awards in recent years, as well as awards for quality of life and environmental sustainability.
