Route Changes Take Effect April 17

Snoqualmie Valley Transportation (SVT) will reduce service on the Valley Shuttle, which travels from North Bend to Duvall with stops in Snoqualmie, Fall City, and Carnation, effective Monday, April 17. The Valley Shuttle operates Monday-Friday. Driver shortages prompted the route change.

Starting on April 17, the Valley Shuttle will not operate northbound routes departing from North Bend at 1:18 and 4:44 pm, and southbound routes departing from Duvall at 2:43 and 6:10 pm. Other southbound and northbound routes will continue – see the updated schedule

Last July, SVT made the decision to suspend the Duvall-Monroe Shuttle service, also due to a lack of drivers. The route has not yet returned to operation.

SVT Director Amy Biggs is urging riders to sign up for alerts on the website, www.svtbus.org, as SVT will restore the modified Valley Shuttle routes as soon as possible.

SVT has been providing Snoqualmie Valley residents with low-cost transportation options for 20 years – most rides cost $1. A program of the nonprofit Mt. Si Senior Center, SVT is funded by King County Metro Transit, the Snoqualmie Tribe, WSDOT, and donations.
