Are you ready for the holidays? We are.

Holiday lighting is a tradition the City of Snoqualmie takes seriously. So, after months of planning, it’s time to begin stringing our 2022 holiday lights - starting on Snoqualmie Ridge.

The week of October 10, 2022, Snoqualmie Parks and Public Works crews will begin installing holiday lights in street trees in the Center Blvd area of Snoqualmie Ridge.

Decorating the numerous, tall Center Blvd street trees requires the use of aerial lifts to provide safety and access for city employees.  Thus, parking will be reduced along Center Blvd and side streets to allow ample space for those lifts.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when navigating Center Blvd and adjacent side streets from October 10 – 14 while work is conducted. Crews will make every effort to keep potential disruptions to a minimum.

The City thanks residents for their patience while this work occurs.

It is anticipated the Center Blvd street tree lights will go live on November 1, 2022, and remain on until mid-February 2023 to combat the dark Pacific Northwest winter months.

In the coming weeks, crews will also begin installing the annual downtown Snoqualmie holiday lighting display.
