Snoqualmie Fire Department Hosts Vaccine Clinic

September 22, 11 am to 6 pm, 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway

The Snoqualmie Fire Department will host a vaccination clinic at the Snoqualmie Fire Department on Thursday, September 22 from 11 am to 6 pm. They will distribute the updated COVID-19 booster along with all other approved COVID-19 vaccinations.

The new Omicron BA.4/BA.5 variant updated vaccination booster has been approved by the FDA and the CDC. Everyone 12 years and older is eligible for this updated booster two months after their last vaccination.

The clinic will offer Pfizer, Moderna, and the Novavax primary series vaccinations in addition to the newly approved Pfizer and Moderna bivalent updated booster shots. The bivalent vaccines, also referred to as “updated boosters,” contain two vaccines in one shot. One part is from the original COVID-19 vaccine and the other part offers protection against the prevalent and highly contagious BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron-specific variants.

The clinic will offer vaccinations for those ages 6 months and older. Kids ages 6 months thru 11 years old are not eligible for the updated booster at this time.

If you are 5 years and older and have an immunocompromised condition, ask about a special third shot qualification in addition to the updated booster.
