Share your vision for Snoqualmie's parks and open spaces at an open house, February 7, 6:00-7:30 pm, at the Snoqualmie Library located at 7824 Center Blvd SE. Talk with experts and learn more about the City's Parks and Open Space Plan. (**This new date is replacing the January 17 open house that was canceled due to inclement weather.**)
In its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality parks, trails, facilities, programs, and events, the City of Snoqualmie is in the process of creating a new Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan that will offer strategies and policies to meet the needs of current and future residents.
The long-range Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan will provide a roadmap for the City to prioritize projects and funding; develop and improve programs; and create a future vision. The plan will also make strategic recommendations, as well as identify short and long-term goals for the City’s Parks Division.
Public engagement is key to developing this Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan to ensure the plan is citizen-driven. In addition to the upcoming open house, residents are invited to provide feedback using recently launched interactive tools including an online survey, idea sharing and park priority platforms, and an interactive feedback map.
