On Saturday, March 24, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the lights at City Hall will go off in support of Earth Hour. This is the 10th year the City of Snoqualmie has participated in this event to build awareness for climate change and global sustainability.
Earth Hour is the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment. Earth Hour is organized by the World Wildlife Fund and began in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Over the year, the event has united hundreds of millions of people in 172 countries across every continent. Individuals, businesses, and cities participate in this annual event.
