Annual Community Art Event Turns Neighborhood Sidewalks into Work of Art

Let the sidewalk become your canvas on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the annual Chalk the Block event, an interactive art experience and on-the-spot art installation. The event happens alongside the Snoqualmie Ridge ROA annual 4th of July event at Snoqualmie Community Park. 

Grab the family and join friends, neighbors and fellow artists on the sidewalk near the YMCA parking lot and Cascade View Elementary School where cement will come alive with cheery, bright chalk art. 

Chalk available while supplies last, or bring your own bucket. Sponsored by the Snoqualmie Arts Commission.
