Tourism News Posted on August 21, 2024

The City of Snoqualmie is often called The Real Twin Peaks. The early 90s iconic TV series was filmed in Snoqualmie, North Bend, and Fall City. Both Fall City and North Bend border Snoqualmie. The fascination intensified with a new generation of fans after Twin Peaks: The Return returned to the Snoqualmie Valley in 2015 for filming and debuted on Showtime in 2017.

Visitors far and wide make the pilgrimage to Snoqualmie to visit iconic film locations like The Salish Lodge and Spa (AKA The Great Northern Hotel) and Snoqualmie Falls, which were featured in the film’s opening sequence.

DirtFish Rally School’s main office building was featured in the original series as the Twin Peak’s Sheriff’s Department. The location is steeped in Snoqualmie history. In 1917, the Snoqualmie Lumber Company, later renamed Weyerhauser, operated a lumber mill until 1989. DirtFish is welcoming to fans, and the Sheriff’s Ford Bronco is usually parked for photo ops.  Learn more

The Reinig Bridge is an iconic bridge for locals and now functions a pedestrian bridge as part of the extensive Snoqualmie Valley Trail. It offers beautiful views of the Snoqualmie River, and was featured in the series as Ronette's Bridge.
