Two New Snoqualmie Police Department Officers Sworn In

Mayor Oath of Office Hendricks

On October 10, 2022, two new members of the Snoqualmie Police Department – Officers Cory Hendricks and Anthony Lemmon - were introduced to the community, City Council, and sworn in by Mayor Katherine Ross.

Officers Lemmon and Hendricks were hired in early 2022 and then attended the Police Academy at the Criminal Justice Training Center from which they graduated in early October.

Officer Lemmon was born and raised in Renton, WA, attending Liberty High School. He earned a BS degree in Law and Justice from Central Washington University. Officer Lemmon chose to work in the Snoqualmie Valley, turning down another law enforcement position to join the Snoqualmie Police Dept.

Officer Hendricks was raised in Snoqualmie, attending Mount Si High School, and currently resides in the Snoqualmie Valley. He worked for the City of Issaquah Parks Dept. for over a decade before entering law enforcement. Officer Hendricks also finished second in his police academy class.

“We have two great new officers who want to serve the Snoqualmie and North Bend communities,” commented SPD Police Chief Perry Phipps. “That’s exactly what we need. People who truly want to work here.”

Officers Hendricks and Lemmon are currently going through an extensive 18-week, on-the-job field training program with senior Snoqualmie Police Dept. officers. Following completion, they can begin solo patrol duty.
