Bob Sterbank joined the City of Snoqualmie in 2014, with sixteen years of municipal legal experience serving Washington cities. Prior to coming to Snoqualmie, Bob was a senior attorney with the firm of Kenyon Disend, PLLC, where he served as the City Attorney for the cities of Lake Forest Park and DuPont, as the Town Attorney for the Town of Hunts Point, and as special counsel for numerous Puget Sound-area cities (including Snoqualmie) on land use and shoreline planning and litigation matters. Bob also previously served as the City Attorney for the cities of Federal Way and Olympia.
Bob is a regular speaker at Washington municipal and land use law conferences, and in 2005 was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Washington Law and Politics Magazine. Bob hails from Cleveland, Ohio, received his Bachelor’s Degree with department honors from Northwestern University in 1986, and his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1989.
