[ARCHIVED] Honor Our Urban Forests on Arbor Day & Green Snoqualmie Day

Celebrate Green Snoqualmie Day and Arbor Day on October 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year's activities include a drive-thru plant giveaway and an at-home scavenger hunt. Tree planting time slots are available for families or small groups up to five.

Drive-through Plant Giveaway: Celebrate Green Snoqualmie Day at home by planting a native plant in your own yard. Free plants will be offered 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. near the bathrooms at Community Park, limit 1 per household. First-come first-serve.

Green Snoqualmie Day Scavenger Hunt: Explore and learn about the forested places in the city of Snoqualmie by completing the scavenger hunt, released the week before Green Snoqualmie Day. Completed scavenger hunts will receive an exclusive Green Snoqualmie patch! Check on October 12th to download the scavenger hunt and begin exploring.

Family Planting: We have 2-hour timeslots (8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.) that a family or small group of up to 5 people can sign up for to plant native trees and shrubs at Snoqualmie’s Community Park. To reserve a time, email
