Membership
The Snoqualmie Parks & Events Commission consists of seven members. At least five members must reside within the city; the other two may be residents within city limits or without city limits but within the Snoqualmie postal area (98065). or have a Snoqualmie mailing address. They are appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the city council. Snoqualmie Parks & Events Commission members serve three-year terms.
Duties
The Snoqualmie Parks & Events Commission advises the city council regarding many aspects of city parks, recreational facilities, and programs. They also advise regarding conduct of any form of recreation or cultural activities held for the enjoyment and well-being of the public.
